We pride ourselves at Mac's Creek being one of Nebraska's most "Sustainable" wineries and brewery. From our vineyards to our production of wines, hard ciders, and beers we try to work with Mother Nature instead of against her.
What are Sustainable practices?
Sustainable agriculture attempts to minimize environmental impacts and ensure economic viability and a safe, healthy workplace through the use of environmentally and economically sound production practices.
Q: So does this mean Mac's Creek is organic?
A: No, we are not organic we use sustainable practices but understand there may be times we need to use products that do not conform with organic farming.
Q: What types of Essential Oils do you use in the vineyard?
A: Depending on the need of the plant we use clove, cinnamon, rosemary and thyme.
While you are enjoying your favorite beverage with us we invite you to enjoy our Sustainability Trail. It is approximately a .5 mile trail to learn the practices we use in our work to become more sustainable.
